Another late notice. Last February (2008), Christopher James published the second edition of his landmark, much loved Book of Alternative Photographic Processes.
Go to amazon's site to see a description of the book. It wouldn't be far off the mark to call this the bible for alternative process photography. In expanded this edition over the first one, he included my photo of Dr. Frangst in his photogram labcoat in between a discussion of John Herschel and Anna Atkins on page 151.
